With this recent nice weather summer may be almost over, but it is still golf season in Brooklyn.
The favorite course in Brooklyn is Marine Park which was designed by Robert Trent Jones and is a links course built off Jamaica Bay in the southern end of Brooklyn. The course at Marine Park is almost 7,000 yards, the longest in the city, and feels even longer with a constant in-your-face wind that blows off the bay. With the greens and fairway in great shape, the new management team has cleaned up the course adding a brand new pro shop along with new golf carts and a driving range is on the way. Twilight hours start after 4pm and you can play as many holes as you can fit it before it gets dark for $15 bucks, just don't forget the bug spray.
